Wharfest is BACK! Our favourite mini music festival on the waterfront returns this October…
Wharfest 8 will take place on saturday 5th October from 3pm running across 3 fantastic venues, Craft Asylum 1, Archie’s Bar & Kitchen and The Hop in Leeds in Granary Wharf.
After seven successful events behind them, Wharfest brings a day of live music from acoustic sets, to cover bands and DJ as well as delicious food and a fantastic array of drinks to enjoy throughout.
At The Hop they will be kick starting Wharfest at 3pm with Get Back Beats, followed by Untameable Puppies, The Cheats and finishing with Brothers On The Slide.
Also starting their live music from 3pm will be Craft Asylum #1 wgo have the brilliant Andy Bolcan on first followed by Jamie Squire, Ellie Coast and headlining the bill will be Sleepy Jake a folk-punk singer songwriter/street poet hailing from Bradford who pulls no punches with his gritty lyrics about how tough life can be!
If you’re staying out late, you’re in luck! Archies will have their resident DJ on the decks from 9pm playing a mash up of soul, funk, motown, chart and party till the early hours of the morning.
As always, Wharfest is a free entry music festival.
