Christkindelmarkt is one of the most established German Christmas Markets in the UK, with traditional wooden stalls, festive greenery, Christmas carousel ride and twinkling colourful lights all creating a unique continental festive atmosphere in the heart of Leeds city centre.
Millennium Square will once again be transformed into a scenic winter village featuring over 40 traditionally decorated wooden chalet stalls selling a wide range of seasonal gifts, toys decorations and the best in authentic German food and drink, together with cosy indoor venues, family entertainment and the traditional Christmas Carousel ride.
This is a continental style festive shopping experience with a variety of gifts on offer including toys, jewellery, Christmas cards and unique festive decorations.
For those who enjoy a range of seasonal food and drink as they take in the delights of the market, traditional German delicacies will also be available including gluhwein, bratwurst sausages, schnitzels, goulash, stollen, gingerbread, roasted nuts and candied fruits.
The Frankfurter Scheune festive meeting hall, Alp Chalet Bavarian eatery and the ever popular Kuh Stall will once again provide visitors and shoppers alike with a cosy retreat in which to relax.
The German Market will be open daily from 10.30am to 9.30pm, Monday to Saturday and 10.30am to 7.30pm on Sundays.
It opens up on Fri 8 November, so get your steins at the ready!
But bear in mind, in respect of Remembrance Day commemorations, the market will not open until 12pm on Sunday 10th November.
