A craft beer and cask festival is coming to one of Ilkley’s most loved bars!
Popular Ilkley venue, ‘The Yard’, which is well known for its February ‘Beer-Fest’ has raised the bar even further this year with a ‘Craft beer and Cask festival’ sponsored by ‘Ilkley Brewery’. The festival will offer ‘Burgers, Beer, Burritos and Beats!’
The festival will kick off on Friday 8th February and will showcase over 30 beers. Encompassing craft beers from around the globe alongside popular Ilkley Brewery cans such as Lotus IPA, as well as over 7 cask ales from Yorkshire and beyond. The weekend will feature live music from Rebecca Clarke from 5pm Friday and DJs until late.
Food will be provided from the popular ‘Burgers and Birds’ menu which is approaching its second year anniversary at The Yard, with its locally sourced burgers, burritos and chicken.
The event will run from Friday 8th – Sunday 10th February alongside the fantastic, annual Beer Festival hosted at the Kings Hall. Over this weekend ‘The Yard’ will be open early for breakfasts so that attendees can get a good start to the day, enabling people to combine visits to The Yard’s Festival and the Ilkley Beer Festival, as they so wish. On some of the days there will even be Bavarian clad ladies serving beers for that authentic beer festival feel!
Ali Allawa from The Yard said: “We are excited to be bringing you our 8th annual Beer-Fest. Our Beer-Fest has always been very well supported with a great atmosphere and seems to grow from strength to strength every year. This year we have our usual burgers, birds and burritos on the menu alongside authentic German bratwurst which we are sure will be well received by our customers after the beer festival! All this together with the excellent live, local music and craft beer we have lined up, it is shaping up to be our best yet!”
